This new land is dedicated to our favorite Marvel superheroes and includes new merch, dining locations, and a brand new Spider-Man ride!
Lines to get in this new land reached a wait time of up to four hours – just to get in! And the mobile food orders were sold out within minutes of the park opening.

Location
Disney’s new Avengers Campus is located inside California Adventure between Hollwoodland and Carls Land.
The new 6-acre land will have three entrances, one from the main walkway on Buena Vista Street, one from the back of Hollwyoodland near Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout and the third entrance is from the back of Cars Land.

Cast Members
Disneyland is nothing without its amazing cast members. Can you imagine the magic happening there right now – the excitement!?!
Creating a new land gives the Imagineers an opportunity to create a whole new experience for guests and cast members alike.

Rides
A brand new adventure for heroes of all ages! And the best part, no height requirements for the kiddos!
New recruits will have to help Peter Parker wrangle his friendly spider-bots from turning Avengers Campus into a web-filled city.
This new ride will require guests to join a virtual queue in order to experience the attraction. More on that below!

I just experienced Avengers Campus and my entire group (6 ppl) got boarding passes for Web-Slingers and Rise of the Resistance in the same day – starting our day at Disneyland.
Here’s what we did!

We all had the Disneyland app and scanned everyone’s daily tickets. So each person had all 6 tickets saved in their app.

About 5 minutes before we turned off wifi (we were in our hotel/ at Disneyland) and closed all other apps.

About 1 before we started to refresh the Boarding Group page – over and over again. The second it turned 7am/12pm it loaded join and 3 of us got to the group page and we had one person select all and secure the reservations.
We tried to book other reservations for the rides to see if it was possible but it wasn’t. The second someone in your group has added you to a reservation you can no longer book a reservation.

Formerly known as the Tower of Terror, Mission: Breakout has become one of the top rides at Disneyland/California Adventure.
I’ve never been on either versions of the ride (I’m terrified of drop rides) but every single family member and friend loves it. I’ve heard it’s amazing, so if you haven’t tried it yet I’m positive now is the best time.
Please note that Guardians is officially part of Avengers Campus now and you will need to first gain access to the land before you can experience this ride.
Virtual Ride Queue
Just like Rise of the Resistance, Web-Slingers will also require guests to enter a virtual queue to access the ride.
This means that all guests will need to have their park ticket saved in their Disneyland App. At least one person in the group will be required to start an account and save everyone’s ticket information in their account.
From the account on the Disneyland App, guests can schedule fastpassess (currently unavailable), order food and secure tickets for the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance and Web-Slingers.
But here is where it gets tricky – you will only have about 1 minute to get access to the virtual queue for each ride. I’ll let Disney explain – they have it all mapped out.

Reservations for everything in Avengers Campus go quickly – including food. Try to reserve your food and drinks as early as possible. You can select a time window, so if you’re waiting for your reservation or if you’re waiting in line, select a later pick-up time for your food and drinks.
At the end of the night there was no line for Avengers Campus at all or for food and drinks. We walked right back in and ordered more drinks and enjoyed them with plenty of seating in the dining area.
Also! If you want the Iron Man gauntlet and shawarma, go to the shawarma cart at the end of the land by Guardians of the Galaxy. That cart was empty all day.

Mobile Ordering
Disney started mobile ordering back before closing in early 2020 and it was a nice option for guests if they chose to use it. But now, mobile ordering is a must for all guests.
Once again you will need to use your Disneyland App to place orders all throughout Avengers Campus and Disneyland/California Adventure.
Guests will need to add a credit card to their profile and will be able to charge all food and drink purchases to their account. If you don’t plan on purchasing food for everyone in your group, they will need to create their own account.
New Merch
With a new land comes new shops and tons of merch to go with it. Disney never misses an opportunity to sell you on something and let me tell you – you’re going to want everything.
Disney is even selling interactive ride upgrades. Guests can purchase their own web-slingers to use on the new ride that will change how they experience it.
The new shops include the Backlot Premier Shop, Campus Supply Pod, and WEB Suppliers.
Characters in Avengers Campus
From the looks of it, Disney is going to have every Marvel superhero at the campus. In the premiere video we saw Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Thor, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Loki, and so many new villains for them to defeat.
Not to mention the Dora Milaje will have their own show! They will appear throughout the park and interact with guests for an exclusive experience.
And the BIGGEST NEWS OF THE NIGHT – The Falcon is OFFICIALLY Captain America and will be in Avengers Campus for us all to meet! I cried so hard when I heard the news. I’m so excited! I love our new Captain America!
