This restaurant serves up fancy cocktails, offers a binder full of wine options and some of the best food on Disney property.
This post is all about the 2021 tasting menu at Napa Rose at Disneyland's Grand Californian Hotel.
The tasting menu is offered with full-service, sit-down dining all year round. The prix fixe menu isn’t required, you can order entrees separately but the course-by-course meal is wonderful for anniversaries, birthdays or another special celebration.

The Wine List
The Napa Rose is known for its extensive wine list. The staff is fully trained and I believe most of them are sommeliers, so you can get some great recommendations.
The wine list is less of a list and more of a huge binder, so be prepared. They offer wine by the glass and the bottle.
Personal Thoughts
Although they are known for their wine and being an upscale restaurant they are not snobby about it. Our server was amazing and helped a younger group in their early 20’s and he explained the types of wines in detail and really cared about their experience and teaching them about the wine selections.
I really appreciated that because I’ve seen a lot of servers be rude to younger people in restaurants but Napa Rose really did treat everyone with kindness and respect.
The service for us was incredible and the Tamarind Duck is something I still dream about. We celebrated our third wedding anniversary and let me tell you – I would do it again in a heartbeat.
The price is similar to other tasting menus we’ve tried. In my opinion, it was reasonably priced. We definitely save these types of meals for anniversaries and other big celebrations.
Overall, Napa Rose was a great choice. It’s romantic and a nice break from the hustle and bustle that is Disneyland. They had a great ambiance and we’re looking forward to making reservations again soon.
