About Chainsaw Man
For those unfamiliar with Chainsaw Man, it’s an anime adaptation of the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, produced by studio MAPPA. The series premiered on October 11, 2022, and has since garnered a massive following.
The story follows Denji, a young man saddled with his deceased father’s massive debt. Denji makes ends meet by performing odd jobs and hunting devils, thanks to the chainsaw powers of his devil dog, Pochita. However, when the Yakuza betrays and kills him, Pochita sacrifices himself to resurrect Denji as a human-devil hybrid, now known as Chainsaw Man. Recruited by Makima, Denji joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters and must navigate his new life, fighting devils while trying to fulfill his dreams and form meaningful relationships.
