It’s Boysenberry season at Knott’s Berry Farm! The best time of the year!
The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival runs through May 18, 2025, and celebrates all things boysenberry with food, drinks, live entertainment, craft booths, and of course… fun themed outfits.
To me, the Boysenberry Festival marks the start of Spring – I’m a theme park girly, so these festivals are my calendar pillars. 😂
There’s always a lot happening at Knott’s this time of year, and the whole park feels extra colorful and alive.
While the food is a huge highlight, one of my favorite parts is planning a themed outfit.
I love getting creative and putting something together that feels playful and festive for the season.
If you’re looking for outfit ideas or just want to know what to expect, here’s a peek at what I wore and how to plan your look for this year’s festival.

What to Wear to Knott’s Boysenberry Festival
This is a springtime event, so you’ll want to dress for warmer weather. Most days you can plan for sunshine, hoards of hungry guests, and a park that’s bursting with color.
When I visit for the Festival, I always lean toward playful spring colors. You’ll see a lot of florals, pastels, and bright colors around the park.
Of course, boysenberry purple is the main character. Pair it with green (like the vines!) and you’ve got an instant festival vibe.
Dresses are super popular during this time too, but I’m a jeans-and-shorts girl at heart, so that’s usually what I go for.
There’s a craft fair happening inside the park during the festival, and a bunch of vendors sell the cutest boysenberry-themed hats, jewelry, and accessories. So even if you don’t know exactly what to wear, you can easily pick up a few fun pieces while you’re at the park.
Another thing to note, the park gets hot, and the concrete really reflects the heat. Don’t forget your sunglasses, sunscreen, and even a little umbrella if you’re sensitive to the sun.
I overheat quickly, so your girl loves to travel with her umbrella during the warmer months.
What I Wore to Knott’s Boysenberry Festival
Of course, I had to wear purple. It’s Boysenberry Festival! I’m not exactly subtle 😂
But you know me—I had to do more than just wear plain purple overalls. I wanted to add a little something extra.
I originally tried to hunt down some Snoopy & PEANUTS enamel pins to style with my look, but they were surprisingly hard to find.
Even in the park, there were barely any pins available—just a couple of Ghost Town ones – very surprising.
So instead, I found some cute springtime enamel flower pins online, and they ended up being perfect.
They added some fun color and texture to my overalls and made the whole outfit feel more festive.
I brought out my trusty Snoopy basket bag from Zara (from a few years ago!)—it’s my go-to for Knott’s, and honestly, it’s made for boysenberry season.
And because purple and green are a must for me, I finished the look with green shoes. Obviously.
It was a hot and sunny day, so I was extra glad I packed sunglasses. Definitely a park essential when the sun is this strong.
Getting Ready for Knott’s Boysenberry Festival
I love everything about the Boysenberry Festival—the food, the vibes, and the chance to dress up for a super fun theme.
It’s hands-down the most creative time of year at Knott’s (at least in my book).
So have fun with your outfit. Go big with the purple. Add some texture, mix in the green, and don’t forget some comfy shoes to walk in.
Let me know how your Festival season goes. I can’t wait to see what you end of wearing!!
XOXO,
Julia
