Happy Festival of Holidays! ‘Tis the season to celebrate, eat snacks, and enjoy all the festive drinks Disneyland offers.
Because Disney has so many evening activities for the holidays and so many yummy snacks and drinks, we wanted to stay the night to enjoy it all.
We booked the Cambria Hotel &Suites very last minute, one day before our arrival and it worked out great!
This blog post is all about the Cambria Hotel near Disneyland in Anaheim.
Let’s dive into all the details about our recent trip!
Location
Address: 101 E Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802
Distance from Disneyland
How far is the Cambria Hotel from Disneyland? The Cambria Hotel is 1 mile from the Disneyland Resort. It’s an easy 5-minute drive from the Parks or about a 20-minute walk.
Booking the Cambria Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort
We booked our stay at the Cambria Hotel the morning before we arrived. We ended up booking through Hotwire.com for the cheapest rate.
Our final total with taxes and fees was $153.18. The average night for a hotel at the level is usually around $200/night, so that was a great price.
Parking at Cambria Hotel
Parking at the Cambria Hotel was $32/night. This price is per vehicle, so be aware. We were able to park in the top lot all day while we were at the Parks.
When we returned later in the evening to get our room, they gave us underground parking passes.
You will need an underground parking pass if you’re staying the night. The underground parking was very organized, well-lit, and guarded.
There was also separate access with a keycard to enter the building from the underground parking.
Transportation to and from Disneyland
The Cambria Hotel does have transportation to Disneyland via the Anaheim ART Bus. This is a separate service that is not part of the hotel.
The Anaheim ART Bus is run through the city and makes stops at all the partner hotels. In previous years, guests were able to purchase a ticket from a kiosk for the bus. Today, you need to download the ART Bus app on your phone, create an account, and purchase a ticket.
It’s a bit more involved a process and I’m not a fan. The app is very unreliable with timing and can be difficult to book in the morning if you’re in a rush.
We didn’t use the ART Bus on this trip but in previous trips we’ve had issues with the timing of the arrival of the bus. It’s not frequent and it makes a number of stops before arriving to and from the Disneyland Resort.
Amenities
The Cambria Hotel had a ton of amenities. We wished we were staying longer to enjoy them all.
The biggest features at this hotel are definitely the free breakfast, water park, pool bar and outdoor movies by the pool.
In the summer we can easily see how this place would be crazy popular. But honestly, California weather isn’t too crazy in the winter months, so going in the pool is still a popular activity.
We saw a ton of kids at the water park area. So we’re guessing they all loved it.
You will be given different colored wristbands for each day of your stay that you will need to wear to access the water park and pool area.
I assume a lot of people try to sneak in lol.
Some of the other great amenities offered at this hotel are a small mini golf area, basketball courts, fire pits, a fitness center, and onsite laundry.

Dining
The Cambria Hotel has something we’re all after – complimentary breakfast! We love a ‘free’ breakfast with our stay. It helps so much with cutting down costs at the park and saving on a restaurant bill.
The breakfast included a mix of hot and cold item and featured everyones favorite – Mickey Waffles!
The hotel also has a sundry shop with small snacks and drinks and a full bar with coffee and a few to-go meal items too.
The hours at the bar are limited, so you may want to check them out before you arrive.
In the same lot as the hotel, you will find a number of dining options like Jersey Mikes, Starbucks, Luna Grill and a couple more restaurants.

This is very convenient to grab a quick meal before or after your Disney day and also if you want to grab coffee in the morning.
Room Tour
Our room was a great size. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw how much space we had.
It was just two of us and it worked our perfectly. We each had our own bed and had a lot of space to get ready in the morning.
We loved how the bathroom was split into two areas. We thought it was so cool to have two showers in the room. Very helpful if you have a family staying in the room.
I didn’t get a great photo of the second shower but in the toilet area, there was a door that led to another shower.
We were also very obsessed with the lighting in the bathroom. It was so good!
The room also had a desk, large TV, a coffee machine a mini fridge and a microwave!! I’m always so thankful when a hotel near Disneyland offers microwaves in their rooms. This was a huge win!!
Should You Stay at the Cambria Hotel & Suites
Hotel Rating of Our Trip: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Based on our experience from this trip we would absolutely stay here again, 5 Stars! The staff was great. The hotel was clean and a great distance from the parks. The complimentary breakfast was honestly our favorite part. We can’t say no to a free breakfast.
We would love to book this hotel again for a longer stay and during the summer months too for the longer days and warmer weather.
If you’re looking for a great off-property hotel, this is the one! The price is perfect and just what we needed.
Let me know if you’ve stayed here before. What was your experience? Tell me everything in the comments below.
See you at the Parks!
XOXO,
Julia
