Pixar Fest is back and from what I can tell it’s going to be even better than before!
This year we can look forward to not only planning the cutest Pixar themed outfits but also a new Pixar Parade, a new nighttime Pixar fireworks show AND Club Pixar!

Of course you’re going to want to first rewatch all of your favorite Pixar movies for some inspiration.
And then it’s time to plan outfits! Let’s dive in!

Easy Pixar Outfits
Pixar Accessories
The easiest way to put together a Pixar-themed outfit is by adding accessories. By adding some simple earrings, bracelets or a bag, you’re on your way to a full-on Pixar outfit.
You can find cute Disney Pixar-themed accessories at Hot Topic, Walmart, Marshalls and Forever 21. If you’re looking for some higher-end pieces you can check out Nordstrom or Coach. The jewelry department at Macy’s always has some great Disney pieces too.

Pixar T-Shirts
Now, another one of the easiest and funnest way to add a bit of Pixar magic to your Disney outfit is by wearing a Pixar t-shirt.
You can easily find a Pixar shirt on Amazon, at Target , and at Walmart. They’re everywhere!
To make things a bit more fun, you can match with your whole group! Matching makes everything better. 😀
We found these Toy Story Alien shirts on Amazon for our last group trip and got a ton of compliments!
They would be perfect for a Toy Story Disneybound or an overall Pixar-themed outfit.
You can find Pixar shirts for just about every character, so feel free to get a little creative with your shirts and outfits.

Disney Pixar Nails
Don’t be afraid to jazz up your Disney outfit with some cute nails! I’m obsessed with the press-on nails from KISS.
They usually have themed ones for the holidays and they are super easy to decorate yourself with some Disney nail decals.
DIY Pixar Outfits
Disney Pixar Friendship Bracelets
A simple Disney DIY for your next trip is making friendship bracelets! Disney friendship bracelets are great for added color and texture to your outfit but also a great way to make new friends!
Trade your bracelets with other guests or hand them out to Cast Members or other guests you feel would love the bracelets.
I love wearing a ton of Disney kandi bracelets during my trip and matching them to my outfit. Make some Pixar-inspired bracelets for your outfits or for Pixar Fest itself!
Anything you make is going to be beautiful!
Personalized Disney Pixar Denim
Painted denim has been popular for a few years but has definitely been having it’s moment in the last year or so.
Use an old pair of jeans or thrift a pair and start getting crafty! You don’t have to paint if you don’t want to. Bedazzling and embroidery are also great ways to jazz up your denim for Disneyland.
I painted a pair for last Pixar Fest and this year I’m thinking of bedazzling some jeans!
Disney Pixar Jewelry
Back to accessories, bracelets, necklaces and earrings are fun and semi-easy to make. They are definitely an accessible DIY if you have a craft store nearby or an Amazon account.
Beaded and clay earrings are probably the easiest but if you like working with resin, I would definitely go for that!
I’ve made a number of Pixar pieces and love wearing them at the Parks. Try making a necklace or some funky earrings to add some color and character to your Pixar Fest outfit.

Luxo Pixar Ball Inspired Outfit
I love my DIY’s and I love a good Disneybound! For the last Pixar Fest and also my honeymoon, I made this yarn fringe Pixar Ball jacket!
It took a couple of months to finish but it was very much worth it.
I’ve worn this jacket to Disneyland a number of times and I’ve had no issues other than it being hot outside and me having to take the coat off for a few hours. That’s always a bummer when you can’t wear something you made just for the Parks.
I love dopamine dressing and I’ve decided what I do is called Disney Dopamine Dressing. I made it up but it makes a lot of sense to me.
Anywho, this coat was a labor of love and I highly encourage ridiculous and unrealistic fun outfits for Disneyland!
Sully from Monster’s Inc Outfit
Another one of my masterful coat creations. Yes, I love these coats and Im very proud of them!
We did a fun photoshoot with the coats too. My bestie Karina looks amazing in the coat paired with a Monsters Inc baseball cap.
I’ve also paired it with a Disney princess dress I made for lots of drama and color. I told you, dopamine dressing.
Prepping for Pixar Fest
Finding a cute outfit for Pixar Fest is part of the fun of the celebration. I love to prep for everything, especially Disney days. Outfit planning is my absolute favorite part of any Disney trip!
The great thing about Pixar Fest is that it includes so many characters and we have about 3 months to wear all the outfits we can think of.
My personal favorites to plan for are Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Cars and A Bugs Life. These movies are the best!
