Do you get anxious trying to plan the perfect outfit for Disneyland? You’re not alone! I spent days, weeks, months trying to plan – and I’m not exaggerating.
In the end, you’ll probably end up wearing something cute and comfortable – always go for comfortable.
I wish I could go back and tell myself that it’s not the end of the world if you don’t have a new outfit for every single park or a new Loungefly bag.
YOU DON’T NEED TONS OF NEW THINGS FOR YOUR DISNEY TRIP!
While shopping is fun, it doesn’t need to be at the center of picking your Disney outfits. Try to work in some pieces you already have or DIY something.
I did a mix of t-shirts and shorts/pants for the trip and worked in a new bag and accessories to jazz everything up.

Outfits for Disney World in February
Disney World Airport Outfit: San Diego to Orlando
I always like to travel in comfortable, stretchy attire. No jeans.
We had a redeye flight to Orlando, which meant sleeping on the plane. I wanted to be sure I was as comfortable as possible.
I ended up wearing flared leggings from Target with a t-shirt and a Disneyland sweatshirt to layer over.
I had on my compression socks with slides and I skipped this step on the flight back and instantly regretted it. Slides and compression socks are the best for flying.
Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios Outfit Disney World
We park-hopped both days at Disney World. It was actually pretty nice not needing to find an outfit for each Park because I really would have gone mental – so many choices!!
For our day at Magic Kingdon and Hollywood Studios, I kept it simple with a T-shirt and jean shorts.
My sister got me the Tinkerbell shirt for my birthday. Tinkerbell is my favorite. I wanted to cry happy tears when I got it! And I picked up the black shorts with studs on them from Shein.
I also DIY’d a cute green bag with charms to match my Tinkerbell theme for the day but I found this super cute tote bag at Starbucks on Main Street and ended up putting my purse in there.
The weather in February at Disney World was perfect, not too cold at night. You could easily get away with just a T-shirt. On this evening, we stayed out late and no one needed a jacket.

Animal Kingdom and EPCOT Matching Shirts Disney World
We started our morning at Animal Kingdom and once again, another beautiful day. The weather was perfect – sunny with a light breeze.
I found these ‘Disney Besties’ matching shirts on Amazon for us all to wear and we looked amazing! I’ve decided matching shirts are the best thing you can wear at Disney World. We all looked so cute.
We mostly all went in jeans for day two. The weather was so nice that no one was worried about rain, wind or intense heat.
Disney Springs Outfit
On our third day at Disney World, we spent the afternoon at Disney Springs for my birthday celebration brunch!
We enjoyed an amazing meal at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ for the best meal. We all ate so much – you have to go!
Since it was my birthday celebration, I wanted to wear something sparkly! I picked up these sequin pants from Nasty gal and the shirt is from Disney World.
To jazz up the outfit, I paired it with a Little Mermaid-inspired necklace from Super Smalls and my cute new Little Mermaid purse from Marshall Columbia. Both items were purchased from Nordstrom.
Disney World Private Fireworks Cruise Outfit
As a surprise for all my besties joining me at Disney World for my birthday, I surprised them with a private fireworks cruise! I only told them to pack a jacket because we would be outside.
The weather ended up being perfect and we packed light sweaters but I didn’t end up wearing mine. I’m also terrified of boats but smiled my way through these pics. 😂
I ended up wearing some black satin slacks from Marshalls and kept on my Disney shirt I picked up at Hollywood Studios.
I added black leather Mickey ears for some extra magic too. It was a super comfortable outfit for the boat and we had the best time!
Universal Studios Orlando Outfit
For Universal Studios, I had to go with a Harry Potter theme. I’m a Slytherin through and through so I had to rep my love, Draco.
I found this Malfoy shirt on Etsy and I love the fit of it. I wear it a lot, even to work.
I ended up keeping it casual with black denim shorts from Target and my Brooks walking shoes.
I also made us all more bracelets! Of course, they were all Harry Potter-themed. ♥️
Airport Outfit: Orlando to San Diego
For my last outfit, I had to go comfortable and colorful. It was another beautifully sunny day and wanted to keep that vibe going with my outfit.
I paired my pink linen pants with a new Disney World t-shirt that I bought to match with sister. The colors were just gorgeous, we couldn’t resist!
I made a necklace for the resort we were staying at, Margaritaville, and paired it with some more Disney-themed bracelets I had made.
It was a very comfortable outfit for our return flight. Like I said earlier though I wish I hadn’t worn sneakers, my feet got so big on the flight! Always wear your compression socks 😀
Outfit Planning for Disney World
Planning your outfit for Disney World doesn’t need to be stressful. I am always consumed by outfit planning for every single trip but honestly – you don’t need to be. And I don’t need to be.
In the end, finding a comfortable and cute outfit is always the best choice. Wear comfortable shoes, pack a good bag for snacks and souvenirs and wear something that you can get on weird rides with like TRON – that ride is not good for restrictive clothing or super short bottoms.
Find what works best for you. I always love to just wear a Disney shirt with pants or shorts and call it a day. You really can’t go wrong with a cute themed shirt and added accessories.
Let me know in the comments what you love to wear to Disney World and if you have any fun outfit ideas planned for an upcoming trip! I can talk about Disney outfit planning all day.
XOXO,
Julia
