We’re back in the swing of things and rounded out the month with three trips to Disneyland!
I’m happy to report the weather has been beautiful and perfect for thawing out the beginnings of our Spring wardrobe.
This month was all about adding color and lots clinky jewelry. I’ve been on a bit of kick with buying jewelry from the Disney Parks. Not the crazy expensive stuff, just all the cute new necklaces and rings they have in the main gift shops.
I love layering on tons of jewelry for the texture and fun sounds and of course because it’s cute.
Let’s dive into all the details from this months Disney outfits.

Outfits I Wore to Disneyland in February
February was a great month for fun and colorful Disneyland outfits! The weather was perfect, making it easy to mix and match new pieces for my park looks. Last month, I kept things pretty monochromatic, so I loved switching it up with bold colors this time around. One of my favorite outfits featured a Disney shirt my husband picked up from the Times Square Disney Store in NYC, and I also styled our matching shirts from our Disney Cruise. Plus, I got to show off my new Mickey Mouse bags from the parks! It was a fun month of outfits, let’s dive in!
Comfortable Disney Outfit
- Levi Jeans
- Lion King Sweatshirt
- Disney Besties Shirt from Tokyo Disneyland
- Green Quilted Tote Bag
- Black Platform Converse
On what was supposed to be a brisk 62 to 65 degree day, it ended up feeling like 75 degrees! I had prepared for the cooler weather and paired my Levi’s with a purple Lion King hoodie from the Parks and my Tokyo Disney shirt.
For some color and contrast, I used my lime green tote bag and covered it in Disney keychains.
No Disney day would be complete without lots of jewelry, so you know I went all out with the bedazzled Mickey earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
This was a very cozy outfit and comfortable. I spent a few hours enjoying some snacks from the Lunar New Year festival before checking out all the shops for new merch.
It ended up being a very productive Disney shopping day. 😂

Couples Matching Disney Shirts
- Disney Cruise Line Shirt
- Green Drawstring Pants
- Blue Nike Sneakers
- Tokyo Disney Tote Bag
We planned a group Disney day and it was my absolute favorite because my husband joined! He loves group days because then he has someone to go on Guardians of the Galaxy with. 😂
We love matching at the Parks and on vacation with fun shirts, so of course we had to wear our new ones that he picked out on our Disney cruise.
The red Disney Cruise Line shirts were a must-buy for us on our trip and we actually ended up wearing them for Christmas Day too!
Because I had kept the shirt pretty simple the previous times I wore it, I wanted to challenge myself to add a bit of flair.
I love being a funky bag-lady and I knew this shirt wreaked of vacation-grandma style…my favorite!
I paired the shirt with my green drawstring pants from Target that I purchased last year to wear to Pixar Fest and then layered on the jewelry for maximum bag-lady effect.
And of course I packed a tote bag with lots of keychains on it for added drama.
Something fun I also added to the outfit were my new Nike shoes!! I was nervous about buying them because they were so bright but I LOVED them and got so many compliments!
This is your sign to buy the weird and colorful item that magically matches with everything!
@julia.vaness I loved this outfit ❤️🥰😍 I felt so fun hahaha My new glasses add a little flair ✨ And I’m so in love with our Disney cruise shirts 🎉❤️ #disneylandoutfit #disneylandoutfitinspo #fundisneyoutfit #maximalist #maximalistdisneystyle #maximalistdisneyoutfit #disneyfit #disneystyle #disneyoutfit #disneyootd @Disney Parks @Disney Style ♬ original sound – Julia Vaness
NYC Disney Store Shirt
- Free People Sweater
- Levi Jeans
- Black Platform Converse
- Mickey Sunglasses
- Mickey Mouse Tote Bag
- Gold Mickey Necklace
My husband picked up a new shirt for me from the NYC Times Square Disney Store! 🎉
I’ve been there once, years ago, but will never forget it’s magic.
Now, whenever my husband travels to NYC for work he pops in and grabs a little surprise for me.
On his recent trip, he picked up a NYC themed Mickey Mouse shirt and matching pin.
I immediately had to wear it to the Parks and show it off! 😀 😂
It was also a great time to bring out the giant Mickey Mouse character tote bag from the Parks. My cousin picked it up for me for my birthday! She got one too because we love to match. 😁
I added my new pin to my bag and immediately realized I would need 100 more to fill the entirety of it. It’s now my calling.
I ended up purchasing a new pin that day and a new necklace!! I’ve been obsessed with the Disneyland Resort jewelry lately.
To make my outfit a bit cozier, I wore my favorite Levi jeans and layered on a super colorful sweater from Free People.
I also found the new Mickey Mouse sunglasses the week prior and had to wear them!
It was a fun funky day – I absolutely loved it.
@julia.vaness I really felt so cute and cozy in this outfit 🥰 #disneystyle #disneyootd #disneyoutfit #disneyparks ♬ original sound – Hillel Barak

What to Wear to Disneyland in February
February at Disneyland is a great time to visit—the weather is usually mild, but it can still be a little unpredictable.
Mornings and evenings tend to be chilly, while the afternoons can warm up, so layers are your best friend!
A light jacket or cozy sweatshirt is perfect for those cooler moments, and you can always tie it around your waist or toss it in a backpack when the sun comes out.
Comfortable jeans or leggings work great, and I love pairing them with a fun Disney-themed tee or sweater.
If rain is in the forecast (which happens occasionally), it’s always smart to bring a packable rain jacket or poncho just in case.
And of course, don’t forget comfy shoes—you’ll be getting plenty of steps in!
What to Pack for Disneyland in February
Packing smart can make all the difference when spending a day at Disneyland in February! With cooler temps and the occasional rain shower, here are a few must-haves to keep you comfy and prepared:
- Umbrella or poncho – February weather can be unpredictable, so it’s always good to have a lightweight poncho or a small travel umbrella just in case. No one wants to get caught in a surprise drizzle mid-churro!
- Comfortable shoes – Whether it’s sunny or drizzly, you’ll be getting plenty of steps in, so comfy, weather-friendly shoes are a must.
- Portable phone charger – Between snapping pics, mobile ordering, and using Genie+, your phone battery will drain fast. A portable charger is a lifesaver!
- Hand sanitizer – It’s still cold and flu season, and Disneyland has plenty of high-touch areas. A travel-size hand sanitizer keeps things clean on the go.
- Reusable water bottle – Staying hydrated is key, and bringing a bottle that fits easily in your bag saves money (and extra trips to grab bottled water). You can refill it at water stations throughout the park!
- Hand lotion – The chilly air and constant hand washing can leave your hands feeling dry. A small lotion helps keep them soft and happy all day.
With these essentials, you’ll be ready for whatever the day brings—rain or shine! ☀️🎢✨
See you at the Parks!
XOXO,
Julia
