Another month (or two), another recap of what I wore to Disneyland.
I could only go to Disneyland three times and two trips were only to Downtown Disney. Very sad. We had some short weekend trips planned; my half marathon and we also got the sniffles.
Life is really getting in the way of my Disney days – how rude. 😂
But I’m very grateful for the trips I was able to go on, even if they were short. Just being near Disneyland makes me happy. Even getting brunch in Anaheim helps with my Disney withdrawals. Hahaha.
We recently had a great brunch at Poppy & Seed just a few minutes from Disneyland. You can check out the full review here.
The weather is definitely warming up, so lighter outfits, shorts, and such are key for the warmer weather.
Let’s get into all the outfits!

What I wore to Disneyland in May in June
Star Wars Outfit
I wore this outfit to brunch in Anaheim at Poppy & Seed. I ended up walking through Downtown Disney after brunch to bring some extra cheer to the day.
It was the beginning of Season of the Force at the Parks, so I had to dress on theme.
I paired my wide-fit black jeans from H&M with the Kylo shirt I ordered on Etsy. I absolutely love the shop I ordered this shirt from. I have three from them.
For jewelry, I wore a pair of Death Star earrings I ordered on Amazon.

Work from Disney Outfit
I used to work from Disneyland a lot before the pandemic and now it’s only every few months. I need to work from Disney more but I’m a bit farther now that I live in San Diego.
However, this day I decided to make the trip and set up shop at the Pixar Place Hotel. They have a great cafe with tons of seating that’s perfect for working from.
You can check out the full review of the Sketch Pad cafe here.
I arrived just before noon and when I left the house it felt cold but when I arrived in Anaheim is was a lot warmer.
I wore my puffy Disney jacket I picked up a couple of years ago in the Parks and layered it over an oversized Disney-T and bike shorts.
It was a super comfortable outfit but the jacket definitely got removed shortly after arriving.
@julia.vaness Did a bit of working from home at Disneyland today! And yes, I worked hahaha #disneyland #disneyday #disneyoutfit #workfromdisney #workfromdisneyland #midsizedisneystyle #midsizedisneyoutfits #disneylandoutfit #colorfuldisneyoutfits ♬ original sound – Julia Vaness

A Bugs Life Outfit
I’m still in full Pixar Fest mode and absolutely love dressing with a theme. It was in the 90s at Disney that day, so I made sure to keep my outfit light and breathable.
I ordered this dress from Franklin Jay a couple of years ago and I’ve been obsessed with it. There’s not much merch that’s A Bugs Life-themed, so I’m so happy I was able to snag this dress before it sold out.
To wear under the dress I have a set that I picked up at Forever 21 a few years ago that I love to wear with it. It’s a hot pink set with bike shorts and a bralette.
The outfit was super comfortable and great for the hot weather. I layered on tons of bracelets and some cute Mickey Mouse hair clips to complete the look.

Disneyland Outfits Summer
That completes my beginning of summer outfits for Disneyland. I have a few more trips planned with my besties that I can’t wait to plan for.
Remember, always check the weather before your Disney trip. Anaheim can get crazy hot, so please be prepared.
I hope these outfits helped with a little bit of inspiration for your next trip.
I can’t wait to see what outfit you put together!!! Planning Disney outfits is my favorite thing to do. Have fun with it and don’t freak out about not buying all these new things. Get creative and make an outfit that’s uniquely you.
See you at the Parks!
XOXO,
Julia
