We’re diving into another month of Disneyland outfits. This time we’re covering all the outfits I wore in September.
The weather this month was a bit mixed. At the beginning of the month, we still had intense heat waves but by the end of the month, it was actually pretty cold – at least the evenings were.
This blog post is all about outfits to wear to Disneyland in September.
Halloween started early at the Parks this year, so we’re already knee-deep in spooky-themed outfits for the season.
But as I’m writing this (on September 30th) Disney just dropped their new Christmas Holiday collection. I feel like it’s still a BIT too early. I still have 3 Halloween outfits to wear hahaha.
Sometimes I need a bit more breathing room than they give us – especially with all the merch!
Please don’t feel like you need to buy everything. I was stuck in a bad overconsumption Disney-cycle for a while and I’m just starting to break it. It’s been tough but honestly, it’s for the best.
I know the Disney community moves fast with their outfits and newest items but buying things you love and will actually wear more than once is a lot better than just trying to keep up with fast fashion.
Clearly, I can go on and on about this subject. But let’s dive into my monthly Disney fits.

September Disneyland Resort Outfits
The weather at Disneyland in September is kind of mixed. If you’re planning a trip towards the beginning of the month, prepare for intense heat. But if you’re planning towards the end of the month, you can expect daily weather in the mid-70s and nights in the 60’s.
Our Disney trips are usually around 5-6 hours long. And I hate driving at night, so I leave before the sun goes down. I wasn’t at the parks late this month, so no evening outfits but these were all perfect for the daytime.
Green and Orange Disney Halloween Outfit
I picked up this green striped dress on Amazon for my Shanghai trip in August. It was perfect for the warm day. The weather wasn’t in the 90’s – which I loved, but it was still pretty hot this day.
I paired the dress with my black platform Converse and some purple socks. For accessories, I wore my Mickey vampire bat bag from Loungefly, some purple Mickey pumpkin earrings I made a few years back, and also the new Mickey Pumpkin leather ears.

Classic Disney Halloween Outfit
I absolutely loved this outfit! We planned a group Disney day for our besties birthday and of course we all had to dress up.
I was so excited to style my new oversized Mickey Pumpkin tote bag from Small Shop Afterall. I found her shop on Instagram and I have been OBSESSED! Her totes speak to me hahaha.
I wore a Disney Halloween shirt that I picked up last year with my black pleated skirt from Amazon. I love this skirt because it has built-in shorts 👏
Also stomped around in my platform loafers from Madden Girl. I picked them up at Macy’s last year and have worn them so much!
I made my earrings and necklace and then also added on the Mickey Pumpkin ears.

Moody Disneyland Halloween Outfit
This is a rushed morning. I had absolutely no idea what I was going to wear but luckily I had this hanging in my closet.
I made this Maleficent dress two years ago for another group Disney day we had and it actually ended up raining that entire day – so I only wore it for about an hour to take a few pics.
I was so happy I was able to wear it again for a full Disney day!
I paired the dress with my Mickey Vampire Bag Loungefly bag and my Converse. I also added on my black Mickey resin earrings I made with my Mickey Mouse sunglasses from Disneyland Tokyo.
Wanting to add a pop of color, I had some fun with my makeup and did purple eyeshadow – very outside of my comfort zone. But I loved it!
This ended up being a really fun outfit and I’m so glad it all came together in the end.

What to Wear to Disneyland in September
When planning your outfits for Disneyland – always have fun! I get overwhelmed too with all of the Disney content creators and their many outfits. But in the end, wear what you feel most comfortable in!
Make your Disney Style your own by adding in some fun accessories or by being a toal maximalist and wearing everything you own at once.
Just have fun…and be sure to check the weather!
See you next month for another Disney outfit roundup!
XOXO,
Julia
