Location
Address: 11767 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92840
The Embassy Suites is located about 1.3 miles from the Disneyland main entrance on Harbor Blvd. It’s close but I wouldn’t call it walking distance from Disneyland.
It’s a great location if you drive in or rent a car during your stay.

Parking at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South
The Embassy Suites does not offer free parking. Most hotels in the area don’t because of their proximity to Disneyland. Guests must pay $25 per day, per vehicle during their stay.
The parking lot is shared with the neighboring hotels and restaurants. It can get full quickly and later in the evenings it can be difficult to find parking.
There is a lot in the back of the hotel but it has poor lighting and isn’t that inviting. I would say overall that the parking lot isn’t my favorite. It’s not private or gated and feels like too many people have access to your car.
Our car was fine over the weekend but I was worried about it a bit at night. And I worried about us coming home so late and parking near the back of the hotel. Anaheim isn’t the greatest of areas.

Hotel Details
Check-in time at the Embassy Suites is 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. We were able to get an early check-in when we arrived but it was a weekday, so that probably played a role.
In most cases, you won’t be able to get your room key until 4 PM. They will usually check you in and then text you when your room is ready.
They have luggage trolleys available but they are on a first-come, first-served basis. So early in the mornings they’re aren’t many luggage carts around because people are using them in their rooms to bring up/down their luggage.

The hotel might not be super close to Disneyland but it’s still a reasonable distance away, just over 1 mile. Although it’s not exactly walking distance the hotel does offer transportation through the ART Bus and it’s super close if you want to drive your car too.
The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, Wifi and access to its pool, business center, and fitness center.

Breakfast at The Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South
The Embassy Suites offers complimentary breakfast with your stay. We love when hotels include breakfast because it helps us cut down on costs at the park and packing extra food for the room.
We appreciated that the hotel offered a breakdown by time for how busy the restaurant would be in the morning. On our first day, we had breakfast around 6:30 AM and it was quick to get food and find a spot to eat.
On our second morning, we had breakfast around 9:15 AM and it closes at 9:30 AM, so it was crazy packed, seating was a bit difficult to find and there were long lines for the food. They were also starting to pack up certain areas because it was about to close.
Please note, they closed the lines promptly at 9:30 AM so don’t be late!
The hotel had a good variety of food for breakfast, similar to other hotels in the area. They had a hot bar with eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes and pancakes/waffles. They also had a cereal bar area and an omelet station.
They had plain black coffee, milk, and orange juice. We also like to pack cold brew and keep it in the room. I’m not a big fan of hot coffee. Our favorite cold brew to pack is STOK cold brew. They have a ton of flavors but we stick with the plain black or bold.

Room Tour
We stayed in a king-bed suite with a bathroom, living room, and a wet bar. It was perfect for us for a two-night stay.
We packed snacks and our usual amount of luggage for a Disney trip (lots of luggage) and everything fit perfectly.
We especially like how the room had a mini fridge and a microwave because you all know how much I need my instant noodles after a long day at Disneyland.
The rooms felt clean and safe and I have to highlight how much room we had again because my husband loved the room too. I always pack a ton of stuff so it was nice to be able to spread out and still not feel cramped.
Below are some photos from the room and also a couple of TikToks I made during our stay.

Final Thoughts
I really like staying at the Embassy Suites. I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s always consistently pleasant. I wouldn’t say high end but it’s spacious and clean within a good distance from Disneyland.
I will say the Dining room and front desk areas need a bit of an update but once again, it’s clean! So no complaints on that end.
It would be great if they had better parking or added more lights to the parking lot to make it a bit safer at night but overall it’s a great location and place to stay if you’re spending the weekend at Disneyland.
We don’t have kids but my cousin has stayed here a number of times with her daughter and they both love having the extra living room space and wet bar for all of their weekend snacks.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South is a great budget-friendly hotel near Disneyland.
