One of the most helpful perks of camping at Coachella is the free supermarket shuttle.
If you forget something—which, let’s be real, happens every year—it’s no big deal. This shuttle runs back and forth to Ralphs, just a few minutes away, and makes it super easy to grab anything you’re missing. Ice, snacks, more drinks, sunscreen, chargers… whatever didn’t make it into your car.
It’s also just a nice little break to pop over to a regular grocery store for a minute, especially when camp starts to feel a little chaotic.
Let’s get into how it works, what to expect, and a few tips for making the most of it.

🚐 Where to Catch the Shuttle
The shuttle picks up behind Lake Eldorado Camping, and it runs on the following schedule for 2025:
- Thursday: 3 PM – 7 PM
- Friday to Sunday: 7 AM – 1:30 PM
It’s about a 4-minute drive to the store. Super quick and super easy.
Once you hop off at Ralphs, you’re free to do your shopping, then catch the next shuttle back. They come every 10 to 15 minutes, so you’re never waiting too long.

✨ Tips for the Coachella Supermarket Shuttle
- Go early. The shuttles are nearly empty early in the morning, but the lines get LONG as the day goes on. Since the last shuttle leaves Ralphs at 1:30 PM, it’s worth setting an alarm and getting there on the earlier side.
- Don’t bring glass! If you’re buying liquor or anything in a glass bottle, transfer it into a plastic bottle before coming back to camp. Security is tight (rightfully so), and they will not let glass through.
- You’ll re-enter through security once you return to camp, which means scanning your wristband, going through a metal detector, and having your bags checked. Just something to plan around timing-wise.
- If you’re planning to stock up, bring your wagon or a rolly cart. That trek from the shuttle drop-off back to your tent can feel real long when you’re carrying 40 lbs of Gatorade, ice and snacks.

💸 Is It Worth It?
1000% yes.
I picked up a bag of ice for $4 at Ralphs—it’s $14 at Coachella Camp. That alone is worth the trip.We also restocked on liquor (poured into plastic) and grabbed more snacks.
