We landed at 5:30 AM at the Orlando airport for our first Disney Cruise. We knew we would need some breakfast to keep us awake for the long day, so the search began for a great breakfast spot.
The vacation prepper that I am researched a ton of early morning breakfast options in the Orlando area. Both near Disney World and near the airport.
My husband and I both agreed that First Watch looked like the best option for us.
Keep reading for a full review of our breakfast at First Watch in Orlando near Disney Springs.
Location
Address: 7710 Palm Pkwy #110, Orlando, FL 32836
Hours: 7 AM – 2:30 PM daily
There are multiple locations for First Watch but this one was perfect for us because we were visiting Disney Springs right after breakfast.
Disney Springs is 4 miles away from the Palms location of First Watch.
Several hotels in the area are very close to the restaurant. The location is also close to SeaWorld Orlando.
This is a great breakfast spot if you’re staying near one of the theme parks and have an early morning planned.
Menu
First Watch had a fantastic menu with all the classic breakfast options. There were waffles, benedicts, and fresh pressed juice.
Service
The service at our First Watch location was wonderful. We were the first guests in that morning, right at 7 AM and they greeted us with a warm welcome.
The host was very polite and let us sit wherever we wanted since we were the first guests in and our server was very attentive and patient. We took some time to figure out what we wanted to order and our server was very kind and gave us the perfect amount of time to run through their menu and for us to decide what to have.
She also helped me pick out what fresh juice to order and made some great food recommendations too.
As we were dining, the restaurant began to quickly fill up but nothing seemed too rushed or crowded.
Food and Drink Review
Carn Asada Hash
My husband ordered breakfast hash and a black coffee. He really enjoyed his meal but he said there wasn’t enough steak in the dish. He did finish everything though and said everything tasted great.
Avocado Toast with Eggs
I ordered the avocado toast, I’m obsessed with avocado toast. This one was great. It was more of an avocado mash on top of the toast and it was perfect. I added an egg on each slice and poured on the hot sauce. It was delicious!
Morning Meditation Fresh Juice
I was so excited to see they had fresh pressed juice at the restaurant. I love fresh juice! I make it a ton at home, so it was nice to have with my meal. The drink was perfect, even my husband liked it and he’s not big on pressed juice.
Overall Rating: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Overall, we would definitely come back to First Watch for breakfast. It was great food and fantastic service. Plus, it was so close to Disney Springs and SeaWorld. The neighborhood it was in looked pretty new and had a ton of small hotels, and townhouses. It’s definitely an area I’d like to explore more.
