If you’re staying at the Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Ford’s Garage is a great restaurant to check out.
It was maybe a five-minute walk from the front lobby of the hotel to the restaurant and during the day there was absolutely no wait.
It’s in an area called Sunset Walk, with a ton of other restaurants and shops. It’s a great place to visit at night for some live music and drinks.
We visited Ford’s Garage on our last day in Orlando before our flight home and I wish we had gone sooner because I really enjoyed all the food we ordered.
Let’s dive into the details!

Service
We went around 1 PM on a Tuesday and we were seated immediately. Our server was very nice and let us know Ford’s was famous for three things: burgers, beers, and bathrooms. 😂
She said they had the cutest bathrooms ever and that we needed to check them out, of course you know we did. And they are very cute!
When we arrived there were only a few tables seated but as we ate the places started to fill up. We had to leave to catch our flight and let her know we were in a rush.
There ended up being too many tables on not enough servers so the time between check-ins slowed down a lot.
In the end, we caught our flight and we really should have left more time so that’s on us.
All of the servers and hosts were very friendly, no complaints!
Menu
The menu at Ford’s Garage was huge and brilliant. They had so many options, it really was astounding.
Everything looked good and you could just tell it would taste good too.
We started with the fried pickles and buffalo chicken dip. These were the biggest and yummiest fried pickles we’ve ever had.
None of us were expecting giant fried pickle spears!
We downed both appetizers easily with our cocktails and beers. I don’t know how they did it, but we also had a fantastic palomo too. And usually, a Paloma is nothing to write home about but the bartender was clearly a wizard.
For our entrees, we ordered the classic Ford’s Burger and the chicken tenders.
I know I’ve been hyping this place up a lot but I have literally been thinking about this meal for weeks. How were their chicken fingers so good? And why did they have the best french fries and ranch?!?!
Something was happening here because we loved it all.
If you’re staying at a resort near the Sunset Walk, I would recommend checking this place out. It’s a 10 out of 10 in my book and I will definitely be dining here again.
XOXO,
Julia
