An honest review of Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas, including rooms, location, pools, dining, and what it’s really like staying here for a weekend in Vegas.
We stayed at the Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas for Halloween weekend, and it was such a fun trip!
I’ve never been to Las Vegas for a holiday before, so we were fully leaning into it – costumes, horror events, late nights, all of it.
We booked this hotel just a couple of weeks in advance, which felt a little risky for a busy weekend like Halloween, but everything ended up working out perfectly.
Between the location, the rooms, the pool, and just the overall vibe of the resort, this ended up being one of those stays where you’re already talking about coming back before you even check out.
So if you’re trying to figure out whether Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas is worth it, here’s exactly what our experience was like.

Overview: Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas
Before we dive into the full review, here are the basics.
Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas is one of the newer resorts on the Las Vegas Strip and is part of the larger Resorts World complex. The property includes multiple hotel towers, dozens of restaurants and bars, a large casino, shopping, entertainment venues, and one of the most impressive pool complexes in Las Vegas.
We stayed here during Halloween weekend and used it as our home base for Universal Horror Unleashed, Area15, and exploring the Strip.
After spending a full weekend here, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite Las Vegas hotels we’ve stayed at.
Is Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas in a Good Location?
One of the questions I always have when booking a Las Vegas hotel is whether the location will actually work for what I’m planning to do.
Resorts World sits on the north end of the Strip, which means you’re a little removed from the busiest sections of Las Vegas but still close enough to easily explore.
For us, this location was perfect.
We spent a lot of time at Area15 and Universal Horror Unleashed, and the drive was usually around 15 minutes. We also had no problem getting rides to the Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, and other parts of the Strip.
It’s about 15–20 minutes from the airport without traffic, but realistically closer to 30 minutes with typical Vegas traffic.
If you’re planning a trip that includes both traditional Las Vegas attractions and off-Strip experiences, Resorts World is in a really convenient location.
First Impressions + Check-In Experience

We flew in that morning and immediately kicked off the weekend with coffee at Horror Vibes Coffee before heading to the hotel, we were fully committing to the Halloween theme hahaha.
Check-in at the hotel was surprisingly easy. There was almost no wait, which felt like a miracle for a busy weekend in Vegas.
One thing to note right away: this hotel is HUGE.

Like… very, very big.
Make sure your driver drops you off at the correct tower, otherwise you will be doing a lot of walking before you even get to your room.
Once we got our bearings though, everything felt smooth and easy to navigate.
Our Room at Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas
The Room
We had the BEST view.
Our room faced away from the Strip, which we actually loved because we could see Area15, where Horror Unleashed was happening, and it made the whole weekend feel even more fun.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and we immediately settled in like we lived there hahaha.

The Bathroom
The bathroom was one of my favorite parts:
- tons of counter space
- a large shower
- and a long mirror in the entryway
And this is important – there was an outlet by the mirror.
If you know, you know. Hahaha. I like to sit on the floor and do my hair, so this setup was perfect.

Hilton Resorts World Las Vegas Pool Review
One of the things I was most excited about was seeing the pool area in person.
Even though we visited during Halloween weekend and not during peak pool season, the complex was absolutely stunning.
There are multiple pools spread throughout the resort, including family-friendly areas and quieter spaces to relax.
Only a few pools were open during our visit, but that was enough to convince us we need to come back for a dedicated pool weekend.
The pool area alone could be a reason to book this hotel.

Resort Amenities: Casino, Shopping and Entertainment
After settling in, we did a full lap around the resort to get a feel for everything.
The property is massive, so I definitely recommend doing this early on so you know where everything is.
They have a large casino floor, shopping, a large food hall, bars, lounges, and even a theater that hosts major concerts and residency performances.
I actually saw Katy Perry perform here a few years ago and had seats in the third row. It was incredible!
This resort really feels like its own little city.

Dining at Resorts World Las Vegas
There are SO many food options at Resorts World.
Like… a lot.
My husband and his friends enjoy a 3-hour dinner at Carver Steak every single time they are in Las Vegas. It’s their favorite spot. Absolutely fantastic for a special night.
The hotel also has a number of great bars and lounges. We visited a few during our stay and they were themed for Halloween!! We absolutely love a themed bar!
We still need to go back to visit the rooftop bar for some good views!
Late Night Food (1 AM Reality)

After Horror Unleashed and a Halloween rave at Area15 (we really did the most that weekend hahaha), we got back to the hotel around midnight and immediately needed food.
We ended up at Suns Out Buns Out around 1 AM.
We got breakfast sandwiches and fries.
It was fine. Not amazing.
Honestly, it did the job for a late-night meal, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again.
Breakfast at Junior’s

The next morning, we were starving.
We decided to stay at the hotel for breakfast and went to Junior’s Restaurant.
And we loved it.
It’s a classic diner-style breakfast, and it was exactly what we needed. We were seated right away and ate way too much food.
Zero complaints.
Late Night Pizza Stop
At one point (technically 2 AM… then 1 AM again because of daylight savings hahaha), we grabbed pizza at Mulberry Street Pizzeria.
It’s right next to Zouk Nightclub, which makes it the perfect post-night-out food stop.
It’s exactly what you want after a long day and a few drinks.
Staying at Resorts World for Universal Horror Unleashed

We specifically chose Resorts World because we were planning to spend most of our Halloween weekend at Area15.
Universal Horror Unleashed was only about 15 minutes away, making it incredibly easy to get back and forth.
We attended Horror Unleashed, explored Area15, went to a Halloween rave, and even saw Zombie Burlesque during the same weekend.
If you’re visiting Las Vegas specifically for Universal Horror Unleashed, I think Resorts World is one of the best hotels you can choose.
It gave us easy access to the attraction while still letting us enjoy all the classic Las Vegas experiences.
What We Did Nearby (Halloween Weekend in Vegas)

We really leaned into Halloween weekend.
We went to Universal Horror Unleashed at Area15 (so fun – I have a full guide on this), then a Halloween rave, and even saw Zombie Burlesque.

During the day, we explored more of Vegas – Bellagio, the floral exhibit, drinks at the Cosmo, and lots of food (because obviously).
Vegas is one of those places where the plan is basically:
walk, eat, drink, repeat.
