We planned a very laid-back Vegas weekend on a whim with the besties. We booked an AirBNB for our first time ever in Vegas and headed out four days later.
What was nice about this trip is we took our time the entire weekend. There was no rushing, no crazy packed paces to get onto waitlists for – just casual.
It was our first truly relaxing Vegas vacation and it was my favorite Vegas trip ever.
We left early Friday morning around 6:30 AM and stopped at Peggy Sue’s Diner along the way!! I know you’ve seen the large signs on your drive.
We even decided to drive back early Monday morning to be able to take in the entire Sunday with more activities. It was the best decision.
We all work from home, so we packed our laptops and we were all messaging on the drive home for work but luckily everyone’s job is very flexible and meetings were able to be moved until later in the day.
Overall, we had an amazing trip. Vegas doesn’t need to be all about glitz and glam and go, go, go. It can be relaxing and replenishing. And that’s exactly what this trip was.
Now, let’s dive into all the outfits from the weekend.

Relaxing Vegas Weekend Outfits
Driving to Vegas Outfit
Your travel outfit should always be comfortable. I opted for some light linen pink pants with my oversized Coachella shirt. It was Coachella weekend when we left for Vegas, so had to celebrate a little bit by wearing my shirt.
On the drive out I wore my Crocs to stay comfortable in the car but as soon as we hit Downtown Vegas I changed into my sneakers.
This was a comfortable outfit to walk around in for a few hours too and grab some lunch as we waited for our AirBNB to be ready.
Downtown Vegas Outfits
Both of the outfits I wore to Downtown Vegas were super casual. There’s a lot of walking in Vegas, especially in Downtown. It’s better to go cute and comfortable than with something overly fancy, especially if you just want to walk around and see things.
The weather was beautiful, not too hot but it was warm, and on our last day it was also very windy. No need for jackets on our first two days there.
I paired my black jeans from H&M with a new top for each day and some comfortable sneakers. I changed up the shirt and jewelry and bag to give it a bit of a different look.
On both days in Downtown Vegas, we did a lot of walking. The boys gambled all day and me and my bestie got drinks, went to the Mob Museum, and then played a little slots.
Downtown Vegas is super casual. It’s a great vibe but at times can feel a little bit like Hollywood Blvd, but the Strip can also feel like that too. Either way, we love hanging out in Downtown a lot more than being at the Strip.
@julia.vaness Super comfortable outfit for walking around Downtown Las Vegas. Dinner Outfit Superfrico
The boys planned their own bestie night out and went to enjoy a steak dinner at Carversteak at Resorts World.
This meant ladies’ night! We planned a fantastic dinner at Superfrico at the Cosmo Hotel. It was absolutely amazing! The BEST dinner and entertainment I have ever had in Vegas. And the chalet-themed bar attached is a must too!
For dinner at Superfrico we wanted to have a little fun so we tossed on a lot of glitter and layered on the glow sticks for added funness. 😂
I wore my new favorite sequin pants that I picked up at Nasty Gal and I received so many compliments on them! They make me so happy.

Hoover Dam Outfit
On our last day in Vegas, on Sunday, we decided to visit the Hoover Dam. We had never been and only really seen it in photos or movies. It was HUGE!
I’m super afraid of heights so walking across the top of the Dam wasn’t the best idea but I survived.
We all kept it super comfy for this trip since it’s an outdoor adventure. I wore my Brooks running shoes with black bike shorts, an oversized shirt and my oversized Disney sweatshirt.
It was kind of windy at the Dam, so a light jacket was perfect.
They had a nice gift shop and I picked up a cute tote bag as a souvenir and I’ve been using it as a purse and also to take around as I run errands. It’s perfect!
The Hoover Dam was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend taking a drive out to see it on your next Vegas trip. It was about 45 minutes from the Strip.
