Do you love to dress up for Disneyland? You’re not alone. I spend way too much time planning outfits, accessories and so much more! And when Disney has a new festival – it’s go time!
The planning for Pixar Fest has been unmatched compared to my last few outfit-planning brainstorms. I haven’t gone down so many Pinterest rabbit holes since the last Pixar Fest in 2018!
The biggest issue I keep running into is Disney outfit inspiration and also Disney character inspiration. I’ve been looking at not just Disneybounds but also cosplays and street style for inspo.
To help organize my mind and to help you plan outfits for Pixar Fest too, I’ve put together a little collage of Disney Pixar outfits!
Scroll on for some Disneybound Pixar outfits and some Pixar-themed outfits!

What to Wear to Pixar Fest at Disneyland
Luckily, we have a few months of Pixar Fest to wear all the outfits we can think of. And don’t feel like you need to be at the Parks to participate in this celebration.
Disney love and dressing up is for everyone, everywhere! I wear Disney outfits most days – especially to work because the day is so much better when I feel like I’m getting ready for a trip to Disneyland.
Plan a Pixar-themed outfit for the beach (Luca-themed) or visit the aquarium (Finding Nemo-themed). Almost any occasion can be turned into a Disney moment, trust me.
Check out the Disney Pixar outfit ideas below for some inspiration!
Toy Story Pixar Outfit
Pixar Fest aligns perfectly with festival season, so cowboy boots and bolero necklaces are everywhere and fringe jackets are always in season. Woody and Jesse’s outfits are fun and pretty simple to throw together. Anything ‘western’ will work!
If you’re going for more of a Disneybounding look, then sticking with the same colors and patterns will work best. I always like to have a little fun with it, so I put together these two outfits that fit the theme but still have a lot of personality and can be worn outside of Disneyland too.
I like to think of it as Toy Story meets Coachella 😆
Now, if you love a bit more of a Toy Story character moment with Loungefly bags and graphic T’s, then these Buzz Lightyear and Sid outfits are more your style.
I love the vibrant colors that pop on the Buzz Lightyear black shirt and it goes perfectly with the Pizza Port backpack. The little green alien earrings from Baublebar are the perfect finishing touch! And bonus points if you add a matching phone case.
For Sid, you have to go with black, skulls, and a bit of grunge. Pairing the iconic Toy Story Sid skull shirt with washed denim shorts and checkered vans is a full moment I think Sid would appreciate. Tying in the Loungefly backpack is a nice little reminder for the crew that you don’t ‘play nice’ hahaha. Just kidding! And any other skull jewelry you have around your house is great to layer on – this ring is fabulous!
Cars Pixar Movie Outfit
Honestly, I had never loved the Cars movie until I rewatched it about a year ago. I have, however, always been obsessed with Cars Land at California Adventure.
Dressing up for Cars Land is another Disney activity I’m obsessed with. The vibes! I hate to say that but honestly – the vibes! Cars Land is just the best.
I even put together a post about all the cute Cars Land outfits guests have shared on Instagram to help you get some more inspo.
Below are a few Lightning McQueen pieces that I couldn’t scroll past on my outfit-planning journey. I already have the CARS back from Target – it’s perfect!
4*Town Pixar Outfit
4*Town might be the best boyband of the decade. They have definite O*Town vibes. I’m still sad I never picked up one of those 4*Town shirts from Disneyland when Turning Red first came out.
But now I’m all over it and I’m here for all the 4*Town merch! If you’re a fangirl, you’re gonna love these items.
Monsters Inc. Pixar Outfit
The color palette from Monsters Inc. is unmatched. I see any of these two colors together and I’m instantly transported to Monstropolis.
I love a resort wear Disney moment and this set from YanYan has my heart. And the pink frilly bag, it’s so Boo!
The other Disney lover in me also loves overly comfortable and relaxed outfits like this Sully hoodie and pink pants. The Boo monster ears add are the perfect way to mix in the purple, same as the green Mike Wazowski Loungfly. Finish it up with a bedazzled cup and you’re looking fabulous! I love dopamine dressing!
Inside Out Pixar Movie Outfit
These final two Pixar character-inspired outfits were an immediate gut reaction. I saw the outfits and knew exactly which characters they were for.
A gathered green maxi dress – seriously? It’s stunning. The color, the textures – everything. It was so easy to pair with a printed pink square scarf from Kate Spade and matching pink flats. Adding a hint of green eyeshadow or liner completes the look. A ‘Disgusting’ look. Hahaha I love Disgust so much!
And finally, we’ve come to this gorgeous two-piece knit set from YanYan. As soon as I saw the cloud and the rain I knew it had to be Sadness. I’ve decided this is what Sadness would wear on a ‘happy’ day lol.
I liked the blue quilted bag too because it added another texture to the outfit and also still brought in those cloud vibes. Pair with some easy slides or basic sneakers, like Keds and you’ve got yourself a perfect outfit!

There are so many more outfits floating around in my head, I’m sure I’ll be back with more ideas!
