Pixar Fest is back!! We’ve heard whispers but it’s finally been announced!
Pixar Fest will run from April 26, 2024, to August 4, 2024, at the Disneyland Resort!
Just over six years ago I set out on my theme park blogging journey and one of the first events I covered was Pixar Fest.
It feels like such a blessing to be here all these years later to continue to share the magic and be a part of something as epic as Pixar Fest.
This post is a complete breakdown of everything we know about the fan-favorite Pixar Fest.

The Magic of Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort
I have missed Pixar Fest so much! It feels like the most vibrant and comforting festival Disney has. We all know and love Woody and Buzz and the entire Monsters Inc. crew. It is just an overall great festival and includes so much more than last time.
Let’s check out all of the new things coming to Pixar Fest 2024!
Club Pixar!
If you’re a Disney OG then you remember the Mad T Party and Glow Fest! These were some seriously crazy nighttime events with DJs, drinks, and endless dancing.
It seems like Disney has heard our cries for more late-night events at California Adventure and brought us Club Pixar!
This event will be taking place in the Hollywood Studios backlot and feature not just music and dancing but also Pixar character face painting, photo ops and a drive-in movie theater-themed experience showing Pixar short films.
Pixar Themed Merch
Disney never misses out on an opportunity to sell us on items none of us need but absolutely think we need.
And what better way to do that than by pulling at our heartstrings with Toy Story novelty items like a Pizza Planet truck popcorn bucket?
You will see me waiting in line right after rope drop for this bucket. It’s already happening.
Not only are we getting cute popcorn buckets but the new clothing is coming out this month! We can start our Pixar Fest celebration early with new spirit jerseys, hats and bags.
Of course, all of our favorite Pixar characters will be included in the new merch drops and there will be exclusive event merchandise coming in April.
Pixar Themed Food and Pixar Food Festival
We’re getting a ton of new dishes for the Pixar food fest. Not only will we have new treats like cakes and cookies returning from our favorite Pixar movies but there’s also a food festival!
Starting May 10, six Pixar-themed marketplaces will be popping up in Disney California Adventure Park. Each one is themed after a different Pixar movie. Here’s a little taste of what’s in store:
- Dive into some Italian coast vibes with Portorosso Pasta inspired by “Luca.”
- Enjoy classic favorites with a twist at Gusteau’s To-Go, straight out of “Ratatouille.”
- Mix it up with a fusion of flavors at The Elemental Table, inspired by the world of “Elemental.”
- Have a blast with tasty treats at 4Town Fav4*ites, perfect for fans of “Turning Red” and anyone who loves fun food.
- Fill up on good vibes with The Spark, inspired by the soulful themes of “Soul.”
- Experience a rollercoaster of flavors at Hanger Management, taking cues from the emotions of “Inside Out.”

Better Together: Pixar Parade at California Adventure
Get ready to be wowed by the brand-new “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade at Disney California Adventure Park!
Twice a day, dynamic floats bursting with color will parade through the park, accompanied by high-energy dancing and more than two dozen of your favorite Pixar characters.
Be sure to check back for official show times as the dates get closer!
Together Forever: Pixar Fireworks at Disneyland
Get ready to experience the magic of “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” as it returns to Disneyland Park with some exciting new scenes!
Disney is already calling it an ‘emotional journey’ and I’m not sure I’ll be able to handle it. I haven’t seen a fireworks show that I haven’t cried at and I know this one won’t disappoint.
While you’ll still get to relive iconic moments from the original production, get ready for new scenes featuring characters and moments from Pixar’s latest films like “Onward,” “Soul,” “Luca,” “Turning Red,” and “Elemental.”
Pixar Pals Playtime Party at Disneyland
Get ready for some Pixar playtime at the Pixar Pals Playtime Party at Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park!
Guests can enjoy interactive games, awesome photo opportunities, and activities inspired by your favorite Pixar feature films.
You can even catch a selection of iconic shorts on the big screen!
Pixar Characters and Decor
Get ready for magical encounters with your favorite Pixar characters at both parks!
Whether you’re hanging out with friends from “Inside Out” or striking a pose with the heroes of “The Incredibles,” there’s no shortage of Pixar magic to be found.
You’ll even be able to meet Ember and Wade from “Elemental”!
The Disneyland Resort will also be decked out in Pixar decorations around every corner. And you’re not going to want to miss the over 25-foot-tall sculpture celebrating friendship and featuring the iconic Pixar Ball in the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Celebrate Pixar Fest in Downtown Disney
Don’t worry, if you’re not ready to commit to a full Disney Parks day you can still enjoy the Pixar Fest magic at Downtown Disney!
You’ll be able to find the whole downtown district area decked out with awesome decorations, bringing that Pixar vibe to the shopping, dining, and entertainment spots.
Pick up some new merch, grab a snack or a drink and take some photos with the new Pixar-theme setups.
New Pixar Place Hotel
If you want to keep the Pixar magic going even after you leave the parks, you’ve gotta check out Pixar Place Hotel!
This newly renovated hotel features all of your favorite Pixar characters throughout the property from the pool area to the lobby, everything is Pixar!
The Pixar Place hotel even has never-before-seen artwork, and appearances from Joe Gardner from “Soul” and Bing Bong from “Inside Out”!
