A girls’ day in Anaheim always has to start with brunch. I’ve been following Poppy & Seed on Instagram for months and months and knew it would be the perfect spot for us all to meet up.
This post is all about brunch at Poppy & Seed in Anaheim.
It’s set in a gorgeous greenhouse and the lighting, colors, vibes – everything is immaculate. Absolutely perfect.
We loved everything from the drinkware to the flatware and the garden greenery all around us.
It was a beautiful setting for girls’ brunch. We also saw several celebrations happening too.
Let’s dive into a breakdown of the brunch.

Brunch at Poppy & Seed Anaheim
Location
Address: 350 S Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805
Poppy & Seed is located on Anaheim Blvd. just 15 minutes from Disneyland. It shares the lot with the Anaheim Packing District – a delicious food hall.
It’s a nice area and walking distance to Villains Brewery.
Menu
Poppy & Seed has a great brunch menu – a little of everything. We liked that it had a nice balance of sweet and savory items.
My only issue was with the drink prices. A cocktail was $17 (normal) but a mocktail was $14. I don’t think juice should be more than $10 – even if it’s pretty. A shot is not $3, it’s closer to $10 or $11 so if you’re not putting alcohol in a drink then you shouldn’t have to pay alcohol prices.
I’ve been seeing this a lot at restaurants since mocktails have become so popular. I really don’t like it.
Everything else was decently priced.
Service
While the food was amazing the service was a bit underwhelming. The staff was very friendly but the service was slow. We were seated at 10:30 AM and it took about 20 mins or so to order and get our drinks and 50 minutes for our order to be taken and that was only after we tracked our server down.
Our server may have been new or they could have been understaffed that morning but our surrounding tables were all being helped, so we didn’t understand why we weren’t.
Our server was very nice though. I would just keep in mind that if you’re in a rush or super hungry, it may be a while before you’re served.
Parking
We were seated at 10:30 AM and at that time parking was easy to find and plentiful in the area. The neighboring Anaheim Packing District opens at 11 AM so that’s when things begin to get packed.
They do offer valet parking and there’s also a lot a block down that is free. If you can’t find street parking, the lot parking is better than valet.
Review of Poppy & Seed Anaheim Brunch
Overall, we really enjoyed our meals at Poppy & Seed. My avocado toast was hearty and no one had any complaints with their meal.
Next time, I would love to try the bagel & lox that my bestie ordered and the hashbrowns are definitely worthy of ordering again.
We all shared the French toast and agreed that it was nice they weren’t drowning in Nutella. They had just the right amount of sweetness to them and syrup was a bonus because they were perfect as-is.
My other besties really enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich and the scramble plate. Everyone finished their meals – so it was a hit!
We would definitely make a reservation here again.
