Are you looking for something special to add to your Disney World vacation? Check out the private fireworks cruise!
We booked this cruise to celebrate my 35th birthday at Disney World. It was something special I wanted to surprise the group with as a thank you for making my birthday so special.
We booked it on our ‘free’ day when we weren’t going to any Parks so that we didn’t have to rush.
How do I watch Disney fireworks from a boat?

EPCOT Private Fireworks Cruise 2024
How Far In Advance Do You Need to Book a Private Fireworks Cruise
We booked the fireworks cruise around 2 months before our trip. When I spoke with our driver she said they sell out each night, so book as far ahead as possible.
You aren’t able to book online so you will need to call directly but it’s a simple process and the Cast Members are very friendly.
Be sure to let them know if you’re celebrating anything special, they can decorate the boat with a cute sign and sometimes balloons.
How Much Does the Disney Private Fireworks Cruise Cost?
The price for the private cruise was around $475. The boat can hold up to 10 people, so it’s not a bad upgrade to split with the group.
They have around 5 boats a night for the EPCOT cruise and about 10 boats for the Magic Kingdom cruise.
We saw other birthday parties and also couples on the boats.
Our driver said she’s been part of a lot of anniversaries and proposals.
It’s a great addition to your trip, especially if you’re celebrating something special.
What Is Included In a Disney Fireworks Cruise
Our trip was around 1hr 15 minutes. We left from the marina at the Yacht Club Hotel.
The boat left at 8 PM and we had to check in around 7:45 PM.
Included with the boat ride was water, soda and a lot of yummy snacks.
At the end of the ride, we were able to take all of the drinks and snacks we didn’t finish with us.
Can You Bring Food and Drinks on Private Disney Cruise
Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks on the private fireworks cruise.
You’re allowed to bring alcohol too but no glass.
Before boarding, we purchased sandwiches at the Market at the Yacht Club Hotel and enjoyed them on the boat.
We also packed way too much water because I forgot they had some for us on the boat.
We packed a few beers and enjoyed all the treats they provided as we watched the fireworks.
It was a beautiful show and tears were everywhere.
Is a Disney Fireworks Cruise Worth It?
Yes! I would 100% say the Disney Fireworks cruise is worth it.
We had 9 adults on board the boat and everyone loved it! I’m actually terrified of boats and after my anxiety the first 15 minutes I was in love.
It was such a special thing to do with friends and the perfect way to end our last night at the Disney Parks.
If you have any questions, please leave them below. I’d love to help answer any you have.
If I’m able to, I will book another cruise on our next trip.
