When Shrek came out it took over everything! I’m so happy that over 20 years later, Shrek and Donkey are still reigning supreme.
Every line from Shrek 1 and 2 is quotable. After all these years the jokes still land because it’s good freaking comedy!
It also really put foods with layers on the map – like onions 😁
With all the hot talk about the new DreamWorks land opening at Universal Orlando, I had to do a deep dive into all the Shrek activities an ogre-lover could go to.

Enjoy an afternoon at the largest indoor waterpark and visit with friends from Shrek and other Dreamworks movies likes Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar!
3. Far Far Away Land – Universal Studios, Singapore
Next, we’re off to Far Far Away Land at Universal Studios Singapore. This is where fairytales really come to life. Wander through the castle, go on a journey with Puss in Boots, and eat all the green waffles you want! Shrek-land is truly magical and so much fun, just like the movies. I wish we had this here in the U.S. cause I want to go back again and again!

For those who like their fairytales with a side of party, the Shrek Rave is a must-attend. We’ve seen it all over TikTok. This epic event tours across the US, UK, and Europe, bringing Shrek-themed madness to the dance floor. Dress up as your favorite character, dance to remixed movie soundtracks, and let your inner ogre loose. It’s like being in a fairytale rave, but with more green and fewer evil stepmother.
