Silver Dollar City Announces $500 Million Expansion, Including a New Resort Set to Open in 2026
In a major announcement, Silver Dollar City has revealed plans for a $500 million investment over the next decade, marking the largest expansion in the park’s 65-year history. This exciting new development includes the creation of the Silver Dollar City Resort, a seven-story, 262-room hotel set to open in late 2026.
Located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, this brand-new resort will offer breathtaking views of Table Rock Lake and direct, priority access to the park, making it the ultimate destination for families looking to immerse themselves in the Silver Dollar City experience. The resort is just the first step in a larger plan to transform 1,200 acres surrounding the park into an “only-in-the-Ozarks” adventure destination.
“This is more than just growth—it’s a new era,” said Brad Thomas, President of Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts. “We’re bringing the spirit of discovery, craftsmanship, and exploration that Silver Dollar City is known for into a whole new realm with our first-ever resort.”
Set to become a central hub for guests, the Silver Dollar City Resort will offer not only premium accommodations but also special perks like priority park entry and proximity to other popular attractions such as the White Water water park, Showboat Branson Belle, and Pink Jeep Adventure Tours.
Missouri Governor Mike Parson applauded the massive project, saying, “This investment showcases Silver Dollar City’s commitment to tourism and economic growth in the Ozarks and for the State of Missouri.
