Looking for a hotel near Disneyland doesn’t have to be difficult. This family-friendly hotel is within walking distance from the Disneyland Main Gate and has its very own pizza restaurant!
This post is all about staying at Disneyland’s Good Neighbor Hotel, The Anaheim Hotel.
The Anaheim Hotel is just a block away from the Disneyland main entrance and transportation center. If you’re researching Disney Good Neighbor hotels near Disneyland, you will always come across this hotel.
It offers great rooms, amenities, dining and the location can’t be beat. Keep reading for more details about the Anaheim Hotel.
Hotel Details
Location – The Anaheim hotel is located at 1700 S Harbor Blvd., just two blocks from Disneyland. In my opinion, it feels more like one block. It’s maybe a 10-minute walk and beats taking the ART Bus or calling an Uber/Lyft.
All of the hotels on Harbor are prime locations to stay for a Disney vacation. They are all walkable, for the most part, or a very simple car ride down the street.
Parking – Parking at the Anaheim Hotel is $18 for the first car and $20 for the second car, per night. They also offer day rates for Disneyland parking for people not staying at the hotel. The daily rate for non-hotel guest parking is $35. Rates do change depending on the season, so be sure to double-check with the hotel before you arrive.
Price – We booked our hotel through hotels.com and paid a total of $135 for the night for a Deluxe room.
Amenities
Dining – The hotel is a few options for dining. Guests can grab a bite at the Pizza Press Restaurants connected to the hotel, the Lobby Bar or the pool bar.
Pool – Huge pool, great for hotter days in Anaheim or also hotel days to relax after visiting the parks.
Pool Bar – The pool offers a large menu with drink and food options. Here is the full pool bar menu.
Fitness Center – The fitness center is just off the main lobby. It’s a small fitness center but offers all of the basic machines and equipment you would need.
Lobby Bar – The lobby is great! They have fun cocktails, a great beer selection, appetizers and happy hour! Here is the full bar menu.
Pet Friendly – The Anaheim hotel does welcome pets but has a very long and clear list set of pet policies. You can find the full pet policy list here, but please contact the hotel for any updates before you book your stay.
The Anaheim Garden Walk – Dining and shopping district located right behind the hotel. It’s walking distance and has a Bowlero, movie theater, House of Blues and so many restaurants. Check it out if you want to enjoy some time away from the Disney parks.
Room Service – The Anaheim Hotel did offer room service at the time of our stay, please call the hotel before booking to confirm the new policy with Covid-19 regulations. You can view the room service menu here.
Laundry On-site – The laundry room is located within the fitness center. On-site laundry is always helpful for long trips and makes the trip home easier. We always like to take advantage of the laundry rooms for extended stays to avoid the laundry at home.
Deluxe Room
We booked the Deluxe room on the second floor. It had easy access from the parking lot and we were able to secure parking spots right in front of our building.
