Disney Plus offers a ton of great Christmas movies to watch all year round but when you want that PERFECT movie to get you in the Christmas Spirit, you need to know what the best Christmas movies on Disney Plus are.

Top Christmas Movies on Disney Plus
The Nightmare Before Christmas: Yes, this is a Christmas movie. It has it in the name. The Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland completely changes for both Halloween and Christmas…so this is totally a Christmas movie. Jack and Sally and Oogie Boogie himself make this movie so magical. And seeing that cute Santy Clause makes it all the more jolly. Personally, I love to watch the movie during the Halloween season but enjoy the Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion ride for the Christmas season. To me, all of the decorations seem more Christmasy than they do halloweeny.
Noelle: Easily a top 3 Disney Christmas movie. This movie is on year-round at our house. This movie hits a lot of different elements that are probably a bit too deep to cover in a fun movie round-up post. But I will say that I love how Noelle breaks down those ancient St. Nick traditions and brings Christmas into the updated times of 2022.
The Santa Clause: 1 and 2 are my favorite, we can skip 3. Tim Allen is at his prime in this movie. It really is full of Christmas Magic. And every time I watch a Santa movie I think if Santa is real then why doesn’t anyone believe in him??? Like, where do they think these presents under the tree are coming from??? A very odd situation to be in.
Home Alone: You can’t have Christmas without a good cheese pizza. This movie is fantastic but I must say Home Alone 2 is my favorite. New York IS Christmas. I’ve never been to New York during the holidays but it looks like pure magic. Staying at the Plaza Hotel, going to the toy store, those white turtle doves. I want to cry just thinking about it.
Frozen: Is this a Christmas movie??? No, but there is a ton of ice and snow so it’s definitely a seasonal movie lol. Either way, Frozen is a top Disney movie. I cry every single time I watch it.
Godmothered: This movie is excellent! I love a good fairy godmother movie. And the actress(Jillian Bell) is my favorite. Once again, it was a fun spin on the classic godmother tale. I like that it wasn’t as easy as it looks. I like that it takes work. This is a great movie – highly recommend.
Iron Man 3: Yes, this one is a Christmas movie. It takes place during Christmas. One of the only Marvel Avengers movies that actually does that. Also this movie hit different than the others. It was personal and I really enjoyed that.
Star Wars Holiday Special: It’s Star Wars, It’s LEGO – what more do you need?
Die Hard: Yes, this is a Christmas movie – it really is! The entire movie takes place at a company holiday party so it definitely counts as a holiday movie. It’s not exactly kid-friendly but it is enjoyable!
