Every Ride at Universal Studios Singapore
One of the things that makes Universal Studios Singapore truly special is its wide range of rides for all ages. Unlike some other theme parks where the focus is primarily on thrill rides for older kids and adults, Universal Studios Singapore offers something for everyone, from the littlest adventurers to the young at heart.
While at Universal Studios Hollywood, most rides are geared towards bigger kids, with only a couple of truly kid-friendly attractions, Universal Studios Singapore has a fantastic mix of rides catering to various age groups.
Let’s check them out!
Elmo’s Spaghetti Space Ride: Calling all Sesame Street fans! Join Elmo on a whimsical space adventure filled with laughter and spaghetti. This is one of the cutest rides I’ve ever been on. It’s so colorful and fun. The ride is similar to the small track rides in Fantasyland – it actually kind of reminds me of the Monster’s Inc. ride at California Adventure.
Transformers: Immerse yourself in the world of Autobots and Decepticons as you join Optimus Prime in an epic battle to save the planet. You can also find this ride at Universal Studios Parks in the States. It’s a fun 3D track ride that never disappoints.
Battlestar Galactica: Brace yourself for an intense roller coaster experience as you soar through twists, turns, and loops on this iconic ride. Choose between two ride experiences, Humans or Cylons. The Cylon side has a ton more twists and drops. This ride is similar to the old Dueling Dragons ride that used to be at Universal Studios Orlando.
Accelerator: Hold on tight as you spin and whirl through the air on this high-speed ride. This ride is similar to the Tea Cups ride but with an extra dose of adrenaline!
Treasure Hunters: Young adventurers will love this kid-friendly track ride through ancient ruins and hidden treasures. A slow track ride, great for all ages.
Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure: Prepare to get wet on this thrilling river rafting adventure through the prehistoric world of dinosaurs. Similar to our Jurassic World ride at Universal Studios Hollywood but in a raft. I love rafting and rapids rides. You can’t go wrong!
Canopy Flyer: Soar through the treetops of Jurassic Park on this exhilarating flying coaster. This ride is a smooth slow coaster-type ride with an above track. Your feet dangle as you fly through the air. It’s not too fast, and very smooth and good for kids and adults.
Dino-Soarin: Take flight with Pteranodons on this gentle aerial carousel ride. It’s perfect for little ones who want to experience the thrill of flying without the fear of heights. This ride is similar to Dumbo and the Magic Carpet ride at Disneyland and Disney World.
Revenge of the Mummy: Dare to enter the cursed tomb of Imhotep on this heart-pounding indoor roller coaster. With sudden twists, turns, and special effects, it’s a ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. One of my all-time favorite rides. This version is actually different than the versions at Universal Hollywood and Orlando. Absolutely loved it!
Enchanted Airways – Shrek Dragon Ride: Join Shrek and his friends on a magical flying journey through the kingdom of Far Far Away. This is a small coaster ride. It’s similar to Flight of the Hippogriff at Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando.
Puss in Boots Giant Journey: Step into the boots of the legendary swashbuckling cat as you embark on a whimsical adventure filled with sword fights, treasure hunts, and plenty of mischief. Another fantastic ride we need in the States. You’re seated in a large flying boat…if that makes sense. The track is above you and you glide through the air but with similar seating to a track ride or even Pirates of the Caribbean. This was so much fun!!!
Magic Potion Spin: Little ones will love this charming Ferris wheel ride that takes them on a magical journey through a world of potions and spells. It’s the perfect ride for pint-sized adventurers. It’s a tiny Ferris wheel located inside one of the gift shops in Shrek Land. It’s the perfect beginner-friendly ride for small kids.
Minions Land Ride: Coming Soon: Get ready to join Gru, and the Minions on a mischievous adventure through Minion Land. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting new addition to Universal Studios Singapore!
Visiting Universal Studios Singapore at Sentosa Island
My experience at Universal Studios Singapore was nothing short of magical. As a fan of all things Shrek, I was over the moon exploring the Shrek-themed land. The park has that same enchanting atmosphere as the other Universal parks and maybe even a little more.
And let’s talk about the merchandise – I couldn’t resist! It was one of those impulse moments where I blacked out and purchased everything.
So, if you’re thinking of visiting Singapore but not sure what to do, Sentosa Island has you covered. Universal Studios Singapore was a great place to spend the day!
