We were starving and craving sushi. We immediately googled ‘sushi near me’ and were surprised when it said there was a spot a few hundred feet from us with amazing reviews.
As we exited the lobby door at the Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore, near the Millenia Walk exit, we noticed a sushi restaurant immediately in front of us – Nozomi Sushi.
The only thing I checked about this restaurant in the 3 minutes from seeing it on my phone to walking over was the star rating on Yelp.
I had no idea what level of sushi this would be but I knew it was going to be good.
We went on a Thursday night around 7 PM and the place was crowded but not completely full. However, by the time we left the place was packed – so you might want to think about making reservations for popular times.
Let’s jump into all the details about Nozomi Sushi in Singapore!
Location
Located in: Millenia Walk
Address: 9 Raffles Boulevard Millenia Walk #02-06, Singapore 039596
We spent the week at the Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore connected to Millenia Walk. This restaurant was as easy to get to as taking the elevator downstairs.
Millenia Walk has several dining and shopping locations on the property. It’s a great place to visit day or night.
Nozomi Sushi Singapore Menu
The menu at Nozomi is huge and everything looks amazing. We had a tough time trying to figure out what to order.
The menu has pictures which makes everything look good and I suggest planning ahead because when you see the food being served to the table next to you, you’re going to want to order whatever they have too.
Nozomi has a large variety of options ranging from carpaccio and sushi to katsu dishes and pasta.
We had to order a mix of items because it was difficult to choose just one.
Review of Nozomi Sushi Singapore
Tai Carpaccio
We started with the tai carpaccio and we loved it. The slices were perfect and they had just enough sauce to taste but wasn’t overwhelming.
Hokkaido Uni Chawanmushi
My husband ordered this dish and really enjoyed it. It was a steamed egg-type dish with uni. I like that but I have texture issues, so I could only have a bite. The small dish was pretty hearty and had a wonderful savory taste.
Salmon Lovers Platter
Up next we ordered the salmon lovers platter and we ate this so fast. I love salmon, so this dish was fitting.
I loved the assortment of the three different types and it was a very decent-sized portion. Sharing was perfect, especially because we ordered more food.
Nozomi Maguro Special
This dish was our favorite. We didn’t read the description and didn’t realize that it came with rice. We were so full by the time we got through the first box and then enjoyed the second one a lot slower. I would order this meal again and again. It was perfect!
Ebi Tempura
We definitely over-ordered with this tempura. It was great, but it really put us over the edge. I loved the assortment they had. We had never tried tempura shiso leaves and really enjoyed it. This would be a great appetizer if you’re only ordering one of the main dishes, not both.
Nozomi Sushi Singapore
Overall, we really enjoyed our meal at Nozomi. We over-ordered but now we know for next time. We don’t regret anything we ordered, it was all delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try a few new items.
Let me know if you’ve been and if you have any suggestions for what we should order next!
XOXO,
Julia
