March was such a busy month, I was only able to squeeze in one Disney day!!
Fingers crossed for next month, there are a few more magical days.
I visited the parks for the annual Food & Wine Festival. I absolutely love food festivals- especially ones at theme parks. Rides and food – you can’t beat it.
It ended up being a super windy day, which was very unexpected.
The weather was great when the wind wasn’t blowing.
It made eating off of tiny little cardboard plates difficult hahaha.
But it was a great day, so let’s get into Disney outfits for March and a few tips you need to know.

What to Wear to Disneyland in March
Layer up, friends. March weather at Disneyland usually hovers between 65–72 degrees during the day, but it cools down quite a bit at night. It’s that classic SoCal combo—sunshine with a breeze.
I always pack a light jacket or sweatshirt because once the sun dips, it gets chilly fast.
Comfy walking shoes are a must. If you’re doing a full 15-hour park day (been there), I like to start in my trusty walking sneakers and switch to Crocs or slides once we slow down in the evening.
Keep an eye on the forecast as your trip gets closer so you can plan accordingly.
And let’s be real—how you feel about the weather totally depends on where you’re from.
My East Coast friends think 65 is warm. I think it’s freezing. 😂 So go with what feels right for you!
It’s not usually humid in California, so no worries there. Just prep for possible wind, rain, or chilly nights. Layers are your best friend.
Planning for Disneyland in March
Crowd levels in March? Yep, they can get a little wild. It’s the start of spring break season, so expect the parks to be busier than usual—especially on weekends and toward the end of the month.
On top of that, it’s also Food & Wine Festival time over at Disney California Adventure, which brings in extra crowds (but also, yum).
You might even run into a Disneyland After Dark event, which is a separately ticketed after-hours event.
Super fun—but also something to be aware of if you’re planning your park day.
Pro tip: Always check the Disneyland calendar ahead of your visit. Some of these After Hours events mean the park closes earlier than usual, and the last thing you want is to show up ready for fireworks and find out you’re getting gently escorted out at 7 p.m.
What I Wore to Disneyland in March
I was honestly stumped on what to wear on this day. Nothing felt fun, nothing felt right—just one of those outfit ruts, you know? 😂 But honestly, sometimes the struggle makes you try harder, and that’s not always a bad thing.
I ended up reaching for one of my go-to dresses, something I’ve had for years. It’s super comfy and always easy to layer with leggings for colder park days—which I should’ve done because it ended up being way windier than I expected. Rookie move. 😅
Lately, I’ve been feeling a little stuck creatively. I used to always make my own jewelry or sew parts of my outfit. It was a fun ritual that made getting dressed feel exciting. But over the past year, I’ve slowed way down on that kind of creativity—and it’s something I’ve really missed.
So for this look, I knew I wanted to go all in. I wanted it to feel bold and a little extra. That’s when I had the idea to cover my knit bag in Disney keychains I’ve collected from Disney Parks around the world. ✨
It was such a random idea at first—but it totally sparked something in me. The keychains inspired the rest of the outfit: colorful jewelry, a bright hat, even my shoes. I leaned into color, leaned into fun, and by the time I walked into the park, I felt so happy in what I was wearing.
It felt like I was getting my spark back. 💫
