Spooky season is creeping closer, and Disneyland just dropped a pumpkin-spiced cauldron of announcements for Halloween Time 2025 — and we are eating it UP.
From the return of the iconic Oogie Boogie Bash to Mickey and Minnie’s dazzling new fall fits (yes, more purple, green and orange magic!), here’s everything you need to know for a frightfully fun trip to the Disneyland Resort this Halloween.
Halloween Time Dates at Disneyland Resort
Halloween Time runs August 22 – October 31, 2025. You’ll see Main Street decked out in pumpkins, glowing orange lights and the smell of festive treats calling you to enter every shop.
Mickey, Minnie and friends are showing up in new Halloween outfits — just as we suspected.
Haunted Mansion Holiday & Halloween Screams
The Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay is BACK — and we are READY to reunite with Jack Skellington, Sally, and our ghost pup Zero. It’s Christmas and Halloween colliding in the best way.
And don’t miss Halloween Screams, the nighttime spectacular that fills the sky with projections, villains, and on select nights, fireworks too. Ursula! Hades! It’s a villain vibe fest and you’re invited.
Oogie Boogie Bash 2025: Dates & Ticket Info
The fan-favorite, after-hours Oogie Boogie Bash returns to Disney California Adventure on select nights from August 17 through October 31, 2025. Expect treat trails, immersive villain encounters, the iconic Frightfully Fun Parade, Villains Grove, and Mickey’s Trick and Treat show for the littles.
🗓 TICKET SALE DATES:
- June 24, 2025 – Inspire Key holders pre-sale
- June 25, 2025 – All Magic Key holders
- June 26, 2025 – General public (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT)
🎟 Tickets start at $139 and include early park entry at 3 p.m.
Halloween Fun at Disney California Adventure
Radiator Springs becomes Radiator Screams, with overlays like Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree. (Clever, right?) Lightning McQueen in costume = the content we need.
Over at Avengers Campus, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark is back, and you will scream. Just sayin’. (But I always scream because I’m terrified of this ride).
And don’t miss the interactive Mickey’s Trick and Treat show — it’s spooky-lite and perfect for families.
Plaza de la Familia Returns
From August 22 – November 2, 2025, head to Paradise Gardens Park for Plaza de la Familia, a heartfelt Día de los Muertos celebration inspired by Pixar’s Coco. Expect vibrant live performances, crafts, delicious food, and a chance to leave a remembrance note at the Tree of Life.
Halloween Snacks & New Merch
Start your foodie engines. Returning faves like Oogie Boogie lemonade will be back, plus new bites like jalapeño-cream cheese bread (yes please).
The Mickey Mouse Family Halloween Collection is the must-have merch drop, and there’s more spooky gear on the way. Find it at World of Disney, Elias & Co., and the Emporium.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
This cute scavenger hunt runs August 29 – October 31 and takes place across both parks and Downtown Disney. Find the pumpkins, complete your map, and snag a prize. Instant serotonin.
