My Disney Cruise was a dream. A literal dream. Not only was it one of the best vacations I’ve ever had, but the food? The food was incredible. And we ate a lot of it. Like… all day, every day.
That’s honestly my favorite part of any trip – trying all the food. Oh, and here’s something good to know: you can order anything and everything from the menus at the rotating restaurants. (Not the extra-cost ones that you have to book separately – I’m talking about the main dining restaurants included in your cruise price.)
And yes, you can order as much as you want. So we did. And we ate it all. Every appetizer, every dessert, every entrée. We’re total foodies, and this cruise was heaven.
So don’t be afraid to try something new – you’re on a Disney Cruise!
Here are my favorite foods from our first-ever trip aboard the Disney Fantasy.
Best Foods Disney Fantasy Cruise
Mickey Churro Waffles
These were the absolute best thing I ate. People rave about the Mickey waffles, but the churro waffles? Next level.
I thought it’d be a regular waffle dusted with churro sugar, but nope – it’s a legit churro, shaped like a Mickey waffle, and covered in maple syrup. It’s crispy, warm, sweet, and just ridiculously good.
I had three in one sitting… and then came back later for two more. They’re only served on the last sea day of your cruise, so don’t miss them. They’re worth the wait.

Dinner at Remy
This experience was insane – in the best way. We booked Remy on the first day of our 4-night cruise, totally on a whim after meeting another family who couldn’t stop talking about it.
It was a 3-hour dinner and every single minute was worth it. The staff, the food, the drinks, the whole vibe – everything was 10/10.
We went for the tasting menu, added on a few extras, and said yes to every beverage pairing. No regrets. It’s definitely a splurge, but if you can swing it, book Remy. It’s an experience.
The Lemon Dessert at Palo
I wish I remembered the name of this dessert – I think it was a lemon custard situation – but oh my gosh, it was perfection.
I almost ordered a second one. I’m not huge on sweets, but when I find something I love, I really love it. This dessert was light, creamy, and had just the right amount of citrus. It came with the tasting menu at Palo, but I’m sure you can order it à la carte too.
Ahi Tuna from Enchanted Garden
Stop everything. This dish was unreal.
I ordered one, immediately fell in love, and ended up eating three in one sitting. The next night, at a different restaurant, our server surprised me with another one because he knew how much I loved it. I was obsessed.
If it’s on the menu, order it. Think layers of fresh ahi tuna, avocado, and flavor perfection. Simple, clean, and so good.
Curly’s in Nassau
Okay, technically this one wasn’t on the ship – but it was during our cruise, so it counts.
We found Curly’s on TikTok before our stop in Nassau, and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. We ordered a ton and finished every single thing.
The wait was a bit long, and I got dangerously hangry, but once the food came out? Total bliss. Worth it.
Ribs at Castaway Cay
Now, I don’t even like ribs. I’m usually not a “meat off the bone” person – it’s just an ick for me. But these? These were different.
I had ten. Okay, maybe not 10, but it was a lot.
The meat fell right off the bone, perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. I’m probably making too big a deal about it, but for someone who doesn’t even like ribs… yeah, that says a lot.
And the best part? The food on Castaway Cay is included in your cruise fare. So go for seconds. Or thirds. No judgment here.
Dining on Your Disney Cruise
If you’re sailing on the Disney Fantasy, come hungry. The food alone is worth the trip – from the churro waffles to the fine dining at Remy, every meal felt like part of the magic.
Try everything. Order extra. And don’t be shy about dessert.
I hope you’re able to try a few of these items on your next Disney Cruise. If you have any favorites that you think I should try on our next cruise, leave them in the comments below.
XOXO,
Julia
